Second Annual EarlyAct FirstKnight Convention

Coinciding with the Boerne Wild West Days at Enchanted Springs Ranch, sponsored by The Rotary Club of Boerne, will be the Second Annual EarlyAct FirstKnight (EAFK) Convention for students involved in EAFK Clubs across Texas and Oklahoma. Any EAFK student, page, knight, club officer, parent, school administrator and faculty member hosting EAFK Clubs, Rotarian advisors and members are encouraged to attend. EAFK Clubs across seven Rotary Districts in Texas and Oklahoma will be represented at this exciting, first-ever event.
The Convention will be only one of many activities that students and their families will experience at this day-long festival. Check out the Wild West Day website below for an up-to date list of events.
Convention Highlights
- Knights of the Guild "Tournament of Champions" Medieval Show
- "Showcase of Service" presentations of EAFK Club service projects
- "4-Way Test Essay Contest"
- "Are You Smarter Than an EarlyAct/First Knighter?" game show contest featuring EAFK Club representatives against Past District Rotary Governors
- "Best EarlyAct/First Knight Club" Award for 2009-2010
- "Power Speaker" to motivate and encourage EAFK students
Convention activities begin around 9:30AM in the Buckhorn Saloon.
EarlyAct/First Knight clubs are welcome to set up and host a free booth for their club for fundraising, highlighting their service projects.
